Khaberni - A remedial immunization campaign has started in various areas of the Gaza Strip, carried out by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the World Health Organization, and other partners, to provide vaccines and lifesaving health services to thousands of children who have missed essential immunization doses during the period of war.
UNRWA stated that the campaign is a crucial step in restoring health and hope to the children of Gaza, amid the significant challenges faced by the healthcare sector due to the war, emphasizing that it aims to reach all areas to ensure the protection of children from vaccine-preventable diseases.
