Khaberni - The names of the actresses Dina El Sherbiny and Mai Omar have topped social media sites in the past few hours, after followers noticed each of them unfollowing the other on Instagram, following Mai Omar's support for Aan El Refaie, the artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, following news of their separation.

The story began when Mai Omar posted a video on her social media account featuring photos with Aan El Refaie and her husband Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz at various events, coinciding with the spread of news about their separation.

Mai attached to the video a touching message saying: "You are the first love, Aan, the true support that was there at every step of his life. You who witnessed the beginnings and attended the success, you are the mother of his daughters, the back he returned to, and the home that opens up to him no matter what happens. You are gentleness and strength at once, and you deserve all the good that will come, and there is still a more beautiful life ahead, God willing."

This move was interpreted by some as Mai Omar siding with Karim's ex-wife, which was considered an indirect move against Dina El Sherbiny whose name has been recently mentioned in the context of the relationship.

Dina's response was swift, as she unfollowed Mai Omar on social media platforms as soon as the video was spread, and Mai in turn did the same, which sparked a wave of questions and speculation about the tension between them.

This debate comes amid unconfirmed news about Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz divorcing his wife Aan El Refaie after years of marriage and having two daughters, and some reports linked the story with a romantic relationship on its way to becoming official between Dina El Sherbiny and Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, which stirred controversy and concern.

So far, no official statement from Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz or his wife has been issued clarifying the truth about the news being circulated, making the story a subject of intense attention from the audience.
