Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the implementation of the death penalty as a deterrence for citizens convicted of joining a foreign terrorist organization aimed at harming the security and safety of the kingdom.
The ministry, in a press statement today, stated that "Fahd bin Ali bin Abdulaziz Al-Wushayl and Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim bin Mohammad Al-Mansour (both of Saudi nationality) proceeded to commit terrorist crimes involving targeting places of worship, security headquarters, and security personnel, possession of weapons and manufacturing explosives, concealing a number of terrorist elements, and joining a foreign terrorist organization aimed at harming the security and safety of the kingdom."
It clarified that "the investigation of them led to their being charged with committing those crimes, and upon their referral to the competent court, a verdict was issued against them confirming the accusations and sentencing them to death by deterrence, and the execution of the death penalty was carried out in the Qassim region (central part of the country)."
