Tender Plan for Supervising the Maintenance and Adaptation of the Jerash Archaeological Site to Accommodate Persons with Disabil

Khaberni - The Government Tenders Department has issued a central tender for supervising the maintenance, coordination, and adaptation works at the Jerash archaeological site to accommodate persons with disabilities, for the benefit of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

According to the tender announcement, the department has invited engineering offices and consulting firms classified within the supervisory services to participate in the bid, provided that their classification certificates are valid and issued by the competent authorities, and that offers must be submitted through the Jordanian electronic procurement system (JONEPS) starting from today, Sunday.

The scope of work includes supervising all maintenance and adaptation operations inside and outside the archaeological site, enabling the reception of persons with disabilities according to universal access requirements.

The tender issuance is part of the efforts by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to develop the Jerash archaeological site and improve its readiness to receive visitors from various categories, including providing infrastructure that considers the needs of persons with disabilities according to the approved standards.

The Government Tenders Department announced that the final date for submitting offers is Monday, November 17 of the current year, through the electronic purchasing system only, and no offers submitted outside the system will be accepted.

The announcement indicated that the opening of financial offers will take place on November 26, at one o'clock in the afternoon, through the Jordanian electronic procurement system, to be broadcast live on the Internet according to the standard procedures.
