Khaberni - The British police managed to re-arrest the Algerian Ibrahim Qadoor Sharif after his accidental release, following a report from citizens in Finsbury Park, North London.
The British police announced last Friday the arrest of this 24-year-old fugitive Algerian in Finsbury Park, North London, at eleven-thirty in the morning.
One of the police officers who arrested Qadoor Sharif stated that he recognized him by his "uniquely strange nose," according to British media reports.
The young Algerian, who was wearing a gray jacket, a black hat, and a black backpack, refused to be arrested, shouting that what happened was not his fault but the fault of the authorities that had released him.
It should be noted that the prison administration informed the London police about the error six days after the release of Qadoor Sharif, prompting the latter to launch a massive manhunt.
It is mentioned that Ibrahim Qadoor Sharif, who resides in the UK illegally due to staying beyond the expiry of his visa, was sentenced to imprisonment for a sexual assault case as well as possession of a knife.
The case has attracted the attention of the British media, especially since the police mistakenly released two individuals from Wandsworth prison in South London, the second being of Colombian nationality, who turned himself in, leaving Qadoor Sharif on the run.
