Khaberni - The Economic Court in Egypt, on Saturday, postponed the first session of the trial of the "TikToker" Lousha, who is accused of broadcasting and publishing video clips indecent to public modesty, to November 17.

The prosecution charged the accused with publishing content that violates public morals on social media, and using his electronic accounts to broadcast video materials that are inconsistent with societal values, in addition to misusing communication tools to achieve financial gains through illegal ways.

The investigative authorities had previously decided to release the blogger Lousha on a bail of 10,000 Egyptian pounds in one of the cases, after presenting him to the Money Laundering Affairs Prosecution, while the Financial and Commercial Affairs Prosecution issued a decision to seize his funds on charges related to money laundering and profiting from indecent clips.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, the arrest of the accused was made after several complaints against him, accusing him of publishing video clips that include scenes of violence and explicit deviation from public morals. The ministry clarified that during the investigations, he confessed to publishing those clips on his pages on social media with the aim of increasing viewership rates and making profits.
