Khaberni - The German Football Association unveiled the new shirt inspired by the one worn by the (Mannschaft) during their World Cup victories in 1990 and 2014, with a white color and a design from the chest to the shoulders featuring the country's flag colors, black, red, and yellow.
On the left, the federation's logo (DFB) appears with four stars and the years the German team won the World Cup; 1954, 1974, 1990, and 2014.
The outfit is completed with black shorts, and the shirt also bears the early logo of the company (Adidas) which is "Adolf Dassler," referring to the German company's roots.
The new shirt has elicited mixed reactions across social media platforms, with one fan confirming that the design reminds him of "Lothar Matthäus starting his solo attack against Yugoslavia, which resulted in Germany's first goal in 1990."
Meanwhile, another fan considered that the striker Nick Voldemad in the new shirt resembles Rudi Völler, who previously played in the same position and also like Matthäus, the 1990 World Cup hero.
The shirt's price also caught the audience's attention, as it costs 100 euros, and in case of printing a specific player's name and number on the back of the shirt, an additional 22 euros are added.
If the buyer wishes to purchase a shirt made of the same materials used in manufacturing the players' jerseys, the cost rises to 150 euros.
