Khaberni - An event in the Oval Office was halted Thursday evening (Washington D.C. time) after a pharmaceutical company representative fainted during President Donald Trump's announcement of a plan to reduce weight loss drug prices.
A video shows the man falling to the ground behind one of the drug company managers invited to participate in the pricing agreement announcement, while the latter was speaking.
Trump, who was sitting at the time, quickly stood up and remained behind his desk, while several attendees rushed to assist the man, whose identity was not disclosed.
White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said, "The White House medical unit intervened immediately, and the man is now fine."
The event resumed about an hour after the interruption.
