Lebanese Army Israeli Assaults Aim to Destabilize Lebanon

Khaberni - The Lebanese Army confirmed on Thursday that the Israeli assaults in the south are condemnable and are a continuation of the enemy's destructive approach that aims to destabilize Lebanon and expand the destruction.

The army stated in a release: "The Israeli enemy launched a wide range of attacks in the south, targeting several areas and towns. These condemnable attacks are a continuation of the enemy’s destructive approach, which aims to destabilize Lebanon and expand destruction in the south, perpetuate the war, and maintain the threat against the Lebanese, in addition to preventing the complete deployment of the army following the ceasefire agreement."

The Lebanese Army command confirmed that it is closely coordinating with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and that the partnership between the two sides remains at a high level of trust and cooperation.

Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that one person was martyred and eight others were wounded due to the Israeli aggression on the town of Tura in the Sur district, concurrent with overflights by Israeli warplanes at very low altitudes over the skies of Beirut and reaching the southern suburbs, as reported by the Lebanese news agency.

The agency earlier reported that Israeli drones and reconnaissance aircraft intensively flew over several villages in the Sur district.

The spokesman for the Israeli Army, Avichay Adraee, posted on the "X" platform, "The Defense Army started a series of raids on Hezbollah's military targets (...) in Southern Lebanon."

The Israeli Army stated that it intends to launch air assaults on the towns, Taybeh, Tyr Debaba, and Aita al-Jabal (Al Zalat).
