Khaberni - Stephen Miron, a governor at the Federal Reserve Board (the US central bank), said he expects the bank to cut interest rates in December, despite a number of non-voting policymakers who might not want this.
Miron said, "I expect us to cut interest rates in December unless there is a surprise."
He added, "When we look at the distribution of votes in the meeting, we find that it is different from the distribution of opinions. Therefore, based on the current information, I expect us to cut interest rates in December, but nothing is completely guaranteed in the end."
