Khaberni - The technical staff of the national team, led by coach Jamal Salami, announced the list of players in preparation for the friendly matches against Tunisia and Mali, in the context of preparations for the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 and the 2026 World Cup finals.
The list includes 30 players: Yazid Abu Leila, Noor Bani Atiyeh, Malek Shelbieh, Abdullah Nasseb, Yazan Al-Arab, Hossam Abu Dahab, Mohammed Abu Al-Nadi, Hadi Al-Hourani, Saleem Obaid, Saad Al-Rousan, Mohannad Abu Taha, Mohammed Abu Hashish, Ali Hajbi, Adham Al-Quraishi, Essam Al-Samiri, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Rajai Ayed, Ibrahim Sa'ada, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Amer Jamous, Ahmed Al-Salman, Musa Al-Taamari, Ali Azayizeh, Mohammed Abu Zureiq, Ouda Al-Fakhouri, Tamer Bani Odeh, Ahmed Arsane, Aref Al-Haj, Abdullah Awad, and Yazan Al-Naimat.
Meanwhile, player Ali Alwan will undergo a rehabilitation program in Amman in the coming period after suffering a partial ligament tear in his ankle during his participation with his club, while players Mahmoud Marzouki and Ibrahim Sabra continue their treatment with their clubs after injuries that prevented them from joining the national team camp.
The Nashama national team is expected to start its internal camp on Saturday, November 8, before departing to Tunisia on Wednesday, November 12, to hold a training camp that includes facing the hosts on the evening of Friday, November 14, before meeting Mali on the evening of Tuesday, November 18.
The Jordan Football Association, through providing training camps and friendly matches for the national team, aims to achieve the highest levels of preparation and support for the Nashama, in anticipation of participating in the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 in Qatar, and the 2026 World Cup competitions in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
It is worth noting that the Nashama national team has secured its qualification to the 2026 World Cup finals for the first time in its history, thus becoming the first Arab team to guarantee its place in the World Cup.
