Khaberni - Several Gulf stars have shown their support for Kuwaiti actress Ilham Al-Fadhala following the news of her imprisonment related to a leaked audio recording in a state security case, resulting in her transfer to the central prison for 21 days pending the case.

Stars support Ilham Al-Fadhala after the news of her imprisonment, and after the news spread on social media, many of them started sending messages supporting the Kuwaiti actress. Shahad Yaseen posted a photo of actress Ilham Al-Fadhala on her Instagram story, writing: "May Allah ease your hardship and return you to your home and daughters".

While artist Rawan Al-Ali reposted the picture with the same prayer, Iman Faisal shared a photo with Ilham Al-Fadhala on Snapchat, writing: "May we rejoice in your return soon, dear mother of Fajr."

Kuwaiti actress Shaima Ali posted a picture on Instagram with Ilham Al-Fadhala, writing: "Oh Lord, make things easy, not difficult, and open Your closed doors for her."

Over the past two days, actress Ilham Al-Fadhala has been absent from appearances on her personal social media accounts, especially Snapchat, which has raised eyebrows and reinforced the rumors about her imprisonment due to the spread of the leaked audio recording.

ET Arabia reported that they attempted to contact her husband, the artist Shahab Johar, and her lawyer Mariam Al-Bahr to confirm the news, but all parties refrained from responding.

Controversy surrounds Ilham Al-Fadhala's imprisonment as social media users shared news about the 21-day imprisonment of a famous Kuwaiti actress without directly naming her, although some sources clarified that it was Ilham Al-Fadhala intended.

Some linked the news to the spread of an audio recording of her on social media, where she criticized the internal conditions of the country with phrases like "not for its people but for strangers," sparking controversy.

The news surrounding actress Ilham Al-Fadhala was not new. Previously, she appeared in a live broadcast to respond to rumors about the revocation of her Kuwaiti nationality, confirming that her family was among the founders of the country.

Ilham Al-Fadhala stated that her family's history is well-known and deeply rooted, indicating that she belongs to the Al-Utbi family that settled in eastern Kuwait since the 18th century.

At that time, Ilham Al-Fadhala considered all the rumors circulating about her as merely personal targeting, denying any crisis surrounding her.

Meanwhile, sources revealed that the Kuwaiti Public Prosecution is continuing its investigations into the case involving the audio leak, before a decision is made to refer it to court or release her on bail.
