Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation - the Water Authority announced the seizure of an illegal drilling rig in Umm Al-Dananeer, north of Amman, which was carrying out drilling activities for a non-compliant well based on available information. A security campaign was organized, and a security force from the Balqa Police Directorate, Ain Al-Basha Security Center, and the Gendarmerie forces, accompanied by the Water Authority staff, moved to the site. Consequently, a rotary drilling rig type was seized at the location, and it was seized and detained by the Water Authority staff. The rig was taken into custody, detained, and deposited at the Central Workshops Directorate. Actions are ongoing to complete the investigation and transfer the matter to the judicial authorities.
