Khaberni - Muslim responded to speculations about his organizing a protest outside the Musicians' Syndicate, affirming in television statements that everything circulated about that was "lies and rumors."
Muslim denies organizing a demonstration against the syndicate
Muslim explained that his visit to the syndicate was to resolve an ongoing issue with a major audio production company he is contracted with, stating that he was merely seeking to reclaim his right and resume his artistic activity after being halted since last March, adding that his presence with his team was in good faith, and he did not plan any protest or demonstration.
Muslim mentioned that the dispute with the syndicate partly stems from his previous disagreements with companies and producers, asserting that he only signed with one company during the start of his career, and any claims of there being more than one affected party are "inaccurate," emphasizing his respect for the chief Mustafa Kamel.
He stressed that his conflicts partially arise from the presence of some individuals in the field who hold a grudge against him for not aligning with their demands, saying that at the beginning of his artistic career, he was then a minor striving for success, he had signed with only one producer, leading to subsequent conflicts with him.
He added that the accompanying work team was small, no more than six or seven people, and that the journalists who attended captured the event without any intention of protest from his side.
Mustafa Kamel refutes Muslim
For his part, Mustafa Kamel affirmed that what Muslim is recounting is inaccurate, indicating that the problems started from the first days of his tenure as chief, and that the syndicate had received multiple complaints about his dealings with various production companies.
Mustafa Kamel clarified that he tried to encompass Muslim and advised him to settle the disputes with the affected companies, and that the syndicate has always strived to ensure that artists comply with the laws, adding that the suspension decision came after a comprehensive investigation with the singer to ensure fairness and consider the rights of all parties.
