AI Artist Signs MultiMillion Dollar Contract Sparking Concerns in the US

Khaberni - The famous American "Billboard" magazine announced the entrance of "Xania Monet," the first fully AI-supported artist, into its official radio charts, after her songs achieved high streaming rates on music stations, becoming thereby the first virtual singer to reach the Billboard radio broadcast list.

According to a report published by "CNN," Xania Monet began to strongly mark her presence on the global singing scene in early summer 2025, after releasing her debut song titled "Let It Run," which entered the list of most-listened songs immediately upon release.

This remarkable success made production companies rush towards her in what Billboard described as an "artistic bidding war," which ended with her signing a massive contract with "Halwood Media" for millions of dollars.

In August 2025, Xania Monet released her first album titled "Unveiled," which included 24 songs varying in styles and themes, from soul music to R&B and experimental pop.
Within just one month, she released an extended play titled "Pieces I Left Behind" comprising 7 new songs, all of which achieved high listening rates on music platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify.

Although she is a virtual artist, behind Xania Monet is a human mind, Telisha Niki Jones, an American poet and singer from Mississippi, who wrote the lyrics for Xania's songs and participated in shaping her musical performance using the artificial intelligence program "Sono," a sophisticated music generation system that relies on deep learning to analyze vocal patterns and produce harmonious tones that precisely mimic human sounds.

Xania Monet's entry into the "Billboard" lists was not just a musical achievement, but it also ignited a wide debate in Hollywood and artistic circles about the future of human art, in light of rapid advances in AI.
While some see this experiment as opening new horizons for musical creativity and offering opportunities for limitless artistic experimentation, others warn that virtual artists represent a threat to the future of real creators, and lead to a "digital colonization" of human imagination.

Reports indicated that in recent months, at least 6 virtual artists, or those supported by artificial intelligence, have appeared on its different weekly charts, signaling a broad cultural shift within the global music industry.
