Khaberni - The Federal Aviation Administration announced that a cargo plane crashed on Tuesday near Louisville Airport in Kentucky (central eastern United States) shortly after it took off.
The FAA stated that "Flight 2976, operated by UPS, crashed around 17:15 local time", noting that the aircraft was a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 and was headed to Hawaii.
