Khaberni - The Minister of Culture, Professor Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh, visited, on Thursday evening, the Jordanian poet Hamed Al-Mubaydin at his home in Karak Governorate, to check on his health after the recent health issue he experienced.
This visit comes as an appreciation of the poet Al-Mubaydin's status as one of the prominent cultural figures who have contributed their creativity and thought to enriching the cultural scene. During his poetic career, Al-Mubaydin has produced a poetry collection titled (Al-Siraj) in which he addresses issues of homeland, identity, and belonging.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister expressed his deep appreciation for Al-Mubaydin’s contributions to the cultural movement, affirming the ministry’s commitment to supporting writers and creative individuals and checking on their health, praising the significant role that poetry plays in enhancing national identity and fostering values of belonging and love for the homeland.
For his part, the poet Al-Mubaydin expressed his gratitude for this generous gesture, commending the ongoing support for Jordanian creatives, and affirming that this visit reflects a genuine concern for literature and culture at the national level.
