Khaberni - Saudi Arabia continues to extend a helping hand to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip through intensive relief and humanitarian efforts carried out by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

The King Salman Center for Relief funds urgent relief projects in the sector with a value exceeding 45 million dollars, as part of urgent humanitarian plans for the displaced, according to what the center revealed to "Alarabiya.net".

The relief projects focused on several sectors, such as: food security, medicine, health, water, environmental sanitation, protection, emergency response, and logistical support.

In the same context, the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center revealed that the total volume of Saudi aid that reached the Gaza Strip until October 23 amounted to about 7,648 tons of various relief materials, transported by 70 aircraft and 8 ships.
Today, the 71st Saudi relief aircraft, operated by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, in coordination with the Ministry of Defense and the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Cairo, arrived at El Arish International Airport.
The Saudi aircraft carries on board food baskets and shelter bags, in preparation for their transfer to those affected from the brotherly Palestinian people inside the Gaza Strip.

The center also explained that the air-drop operations of aid included the distribution of 39,200 ready-to-eat meals, the provision of 500 medical supplies, along with 20 ambulances to enhance the health sector capabilities inside Gaza.
