Khaberni - As part of the ongoing efforts of Orange Jordan to make a positive impact on the community and support youth, the Digital Fabrication Lab affiliated with the Orange Digital Center concluded a series of innovative training programs aimed at enabling students to turn their creative ideas into viable projects, enhancing their technical application skills and providing them with opportunities to gain practical experiences that qualify them for competition in the job market.
Within these training programs, the lab conducted an intensive training on manufacturing sumo robots over a full month, with the participation of more than 50 male and female students from various Jordanian universities, and the qualification of 8 teams to manufacture their robots and compete in the competition organized by the Hussein Technical University. The training included specialized sessions in digital fabrication, mechanical design, and programming strategies, along with practical and technical advice, under the supervision of expert engineers and specialists.
On another front, the lab implemented a support program for graduation projects that lasted for four months, providing students with the opportunity to transform their creative ideas into viable technical projects in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence and augmented learning, drones, and surgical robots. This program contributed to honing the practical skills of the students and enabling them to innovate solutions compatible with both local and international market requirements.
Orange Jordan affirmed that these initiatives reflect its commitment to investing in the capabilities of youth and providing a comprehensive educational environment that combines practical learning and innovation, contributing to building a new generation of creators and leaders in the field of digital fabrication and modern technologies, and enhancing Jordan's position as a regional hub for innovation and technology.
