Khaberni - Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Majali, President of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, signed two agreements to support research projects funded by the Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund of the Higher Council for Science and Technology, totaling 17,445 Jordanian Dinars.
These agreements support two research projects won by two teams from the Faculty of Business at the university; the first is led by Professor Dr. Ayman Abdelmajid Al-Smadi, and the second by Professor Dr. Khaled Saleh Al-Amoush.
The signing was attended by Mr. Mujib Al-Shbool, representing the fund, Professor Dr. Tareq Al-Qurum, Vice President of the university and Dean of Scientific Research, and Professor Dr. Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Shahadah, Dean of the Faculty of Business.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Majali, the university president, emphasized that this support aligns with the university’s vision to enhance scientific research and encourage researchers to innovate and produce knowledge. He noted that applying research outcomes in real-world scenarios is a fundamental pillar in achieving sustainable development and elevating societies.
Al-Majali also highlighted that Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan stands out among Jordanian universities in terms of scientific research spending relative to its budget, reflecting its firm commitment to supporting researchers and advancing the level of scientific research locally and regionally.
