Khaberni - The Israeli occupation authorities released the bodies of 45 Palestinian detainees that were held by the Israeli side, which announced today, Monday, that it had identified those of three soldiers received from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the International Committee of the Red Cross has transported the bodies of the seventh batch of martyrs to the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip says that the occupation authorities have handed over the bodies of 270 martyrs since the start of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Earlier this morning, Monday, the Israeli army announced having identified the bodies of three soldiers it received from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), through the International Committee of the Red Cross, among them Colonel Asaf Hamami (40 years old).
Hamami was the commander of the Southern Brigade in the Gaza Division of the Israeli army, and he is the highest-ranking officer captured by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, during the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023.
