Khaberni - The Football Association released a new episode of the program "The Decision," which discussed the most notable refereeing cases accompanying the tenth round of the Professional League.
Regarding the match between Al-Ramtha and Al-Wehdat, which witnessed several exciting cases, refereeing expert Mahmoud Al-Hafi said that neither team deserved any penalty kicks during the match.
In detail, Al-Hafi explained the following:
• Minute 10:
The referee awarded a direct free kick to Al-Wehdat, whereas it should have been awarded in favor of the Al-Ramtha player because it was the Al-Wehdat player who hit the foot of the Al-Ramtha player.
• Minute 33:
The referee's decision to not award a penalty kick to Al-Ramtha is correct, as the Al-Wehdat player put his hand on the Al-Ramtha player without affecting him, and the Al-Ramtha player stopped playing on his own initiative.
• Minute 61:
The referee made the right decision to call a foul in favor of Al-Ramtha and to issue a yellow card to the Al-Wehdat player for stopping a promising attack, and the situation does not deserve a red card because another player from Al-Wehdat covered the Al-Ramtha player.
• Minute 64:
Incorrect decision by the linesman to call offsides on Al-Ramtha, as there were two players from Al-Wehdat in positions breaking the offside trap.
• Minute 73:
The referee made a wrong decision by calling a foul on the Al-Ramtha player and issuing him a warning, because the ball did not touch the hand of the Al-Ramtha player but his chest, and even if it had touched his hand, it wouldn't be considered a violation since the player was falling and used his arm to support his body.
• Minute 82:
The referee made the correct decision not to award a penalty kick to Al-Ramtha, and he should have stopped the play and issued a yellow card to the Al-Ramtha player for simulation.
• Minute 84:
The referee made the right decision not to award a penalty kick to Al-Wehdat, because the Al-Ramtha player played on the ball, while the Al-Wehdat player jumped over it. Also, the decision to issue a yellow card to the Al-Wehdat player for simulation is correct, as well as the yellow card to his teammate for protesting.
Most notable cases in other matches:
• The penalty kick for Shabab Al-Ordon is correct.
• The added time in the match between Al-Hussein Irbid and Al-Ahli is correct due to a stoppage of five minutes during the added time.
• There is no penalty kick for Al-Sareeh Club.
