Khaberni - Samsung has announced the launch of its new Galaxy "XR" (Galaxy XR) virtual reality glasses, priced at $1799, according to the German News Agency.
The South Korean company explained that its new Galaxy "XR" glasses, which include the "Gemini AI" artificial intelligence technology, feature Micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 3552 × 3840 pixels, and the refresh rate reaches up to 90 Hz.
The horizontal field of view is 109 degrees, while the vertical field of view is 100 degrees.
The Galaxy "XR" glasses can display all applications designed for the Android system, and can be used for entertainment and productivity, as well as for capturing 3D photos and videos with its built-in 6.5-megapixel camera.
Inside the new glasses, there is a second-generation Snapdragon XR2+ processor, with 16 gigabytes of RAM, and 256 gigabytes of internal storage.
Comprehensive Sensing Technologies
Comprehensive sensing technologies are available, including a depth sensor and 6 cameras capable of perceiving the surrounding environment. There are also 4 cameras for eye tracking, with iris recognition, in addition to 6 microphones and two speakers.
The new Galaxy "XR" virtual reality glasses weigh 545 grams, while the battery life lasts up to two hours.
Users with nearsightedness/farsightedness can use the glasses with medical lenses, which are sold separately.
