Khaberni - The United Nations announced that tens of thousands of Sudanese civilians have fled towns and villages in North Kordofan state, Sudan, a week after the Rapid Support Forces took control of the city of El Fasher in Darfur.

The International Organization for Migration reported in a statement Sunday night that 36,825 people fled from five towns and villages in North Kordofan, located east of Darfur, where the Rapid Support Forces last week took control of the last major army stronghold.
