Finding the Body of an American Child in a Refrigerator Accusations Against His Parents and Grandmother

Khaberni - Charges have been directed against the parents and grandmother of a child in the city of Lynwood, California for torturing and killing him, following the discovery of his body inside a refrigerator.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has charged both parents of the boy, Destiny Loki Harrison and Daniel Alberto Monzon, and the boy's paternal grandmother, Anna Carkamo Zarceno, with felony murder, torture, and child abuse.

The District Attorney's Office reported that the boy “suffered continuous abuse from his parents and grandmother since April 2025,” and died from his injuries on October 24, just days before his body was found in a refrigerator in a residential complex in the city on October 28.

It is believed that the boy was eight years old at the time of his death, and investigations have not revealed any educational record for him, according to NBCLA.

Three other children, ages 16 years, 14 years, and 9 months, were also removed from the same residential complex, one of whom was a witness in the case.

Each of the accused faces a punishment that could lead to life imprisonment or 32 years, according to the District Attorney's Office.
