Khaberni - The Las Vegas Police Department officially welcomed its first fleet of Cybertruck electric trucks, built and modified specifically for police use, according to the "Electric Car Report".

The police department collaborated with "Unplugged Performance", specifically its "UP.FIT" division, to equip and enhance the vehicles to meet police requirements.

Thus, the vehicles come equipped with complete police gear ranging from lights, alarm systems, public address systems, to prisoner barriers, push bars, chase brakes, suspension systems, and enhanced durability.

This collaboration resulted in a range of vehicles that are more powerful than the standard versions of "Cybertruck" and are integrated with remote surveillance management systems.

This collaboration resulted in 10 Cybertruck vehicles specifically designed for tough missions, as described by the CEO of "Unplugged Performance" as the police cars of the future.

The police department obtained these ten vehicles through a generous donation from Ben and Valencia Horowitz, who also covered the cost of modifying the vehicles for police use.

It is expected that each vehicle will save more than $47,000 over its service life of up to 5 years, in maintenance expenses and fuel consumption. Additionally, Tesla has provided an extended warranty on the vehicle for 8 years or 240,000 kilometers.

The department also unveiled a range of new technical equipment that facilitates their work, including drones that are part of the department's first response unit, along with a set of robotic dogs from the renowned company "Boston Dynamics".
