Khaberni - The number of companies registered in Jordan since the beginning of this year until the end of October increased by 49% compared to the same period from 2019, and 19% compared to the same period last year, 2024.
The number of companies that were registered during the past ten months of this year reached 6341 companies, compared to 4266 companies for the same period in 2019, and 5334 companies in the same period last year, 2024.
According to statistical figures from the Companies Control Department, the total registered capital for the past ten months of this year, 2025, exceeded 356 million dinars.
The highest type of companies registered in terms of number from the beginning of this year until the end of October were limited liability companies, with 4597 companies accounting for 72.5% of the registered companies, and with registered capitals exceeding 114 million dinars.
The numbers showed that the highest type of companies registered in terms of capital from the beginning of this year, 2025, until the end of October was private shareholding companies, with registered capitals exceeding 156 million dinars.
The statistical figures indicated a decrease in the number of companies whose registration was dissolved or cancelled during the past ten months of this year by 74% compared to the same period in 2019, and by 31% for the same period last year, 2024.
The rate of increase in capital accumulation during the past ten months of this year increased by 756%, compared to the same period from 2019, and by 151% in the same period last year, 2024.
