Khaberni - Spanish media reports revealed that Lamine Yamal, a Barcelona player, decided to move from his old home to a new palace in an upscale area near Barcelona after recently feeling at risk, believing that there were people attempting to rob and kidnap him.
Yamal purchased the palace of Gerard Pique, the former Barcelona star, and his former girlfriend Shakira, in a deal worth 10.5 million euros, according to Spanish media.
The Spanish newspaper "Sport", quoting journalists Laura Fa and Lorena Vasquez, reported that Lamine Yamal has already started the moving procedures to the new house, located in an upscale area near Barcelona.
Accompanying the Barcelona star in his move are two of his closest associates, his cousin Mohamed Abdu and his close friend Sohaib, who have already chosen their rooms in the luxurious palace.
An incident hastened the move
Reports confirm that the move was accelerated after an exciting incident on the night of October 20, while Yamal was staying in his old home in Sant Just Desvern. He heard strange noises at his balcony and shouts from unknowns after midnight, and surmised that there were attempts to rob him or even kidnap him.
The report added: Yamal quickly called the Catalan police "Mossos d'Esquadra" and his neighbors, but the investigation did not confirm the presence of a break-in, and close ones speculated that it might have been just one of the fans who only wanted to see him.
