Khaberni - Rahma Mohsen confirms her insistence on continuing her artistic path despite the threats she faces, emphasizing that she will not give up her right, and that the competent authorities have already started taking legal measures.
Artist Rahma Mohsen stated in press statements that she is continuing on her artistic journey and will not allow any obstacles to hinder her success, saying: «I am continuing on the path I started, and nothing will stop me from my success, and I will protect it no matter what happens».
She added that she has received many threats recently, but she is determined to continue, saying: «I have received many threats, but despite that, I will continue and will not give up my right, and everyone who has wronged me must be held accountable».
Rahma Mohsen explained that her confidence in her audience and their continuous support are the biggest motivation for her to continue her artistic work, noting that she is preparing to present a series of new works that will be announced soon.
In a related context, the artist had handed over to the IT investigations department a number of messages she received from her ex-husband, Ahmed, through the WhatsApp application, including a private video filmed during their marital relationship, in addition to threatening messages to publish the clip unless she pays an amount of 3 million Egyptian pounds.
This was part of an official complaint filed by Rahma Mohsen against her ex-husband, accusing him of blackmailing and threatening her, where the concerned authorities began examining the material presented by the artist to determine its validity and take appropriate legal actions.
Internet investigations also started tracking the source of the messages and conversations to identify the account used in sending the threats and to apprehend the accused according to the law.
On the other hand, Rahma Mohsen filed a new report against her ex-husband, accusing him of violating her privacy by using video clips captured by surveillance cameras without her permission, considering that the circulation or use of these clips outside the personal scope represents a clear infringement on her private life.
The artist requested the competent authorities to quickly take legal actions against those involved in the incident, while the public prosecutor's office began examining the complaint and requested investigations about the mentioned incidents, preparing to summon the concerned parties and hear their statements to complete the investigations within the framework of the law.
