Khaberni - The Income and Sales Tax Department clarified that it is now possible for patients and visitors to pay doctors' fees and any medical charges at clinics or medical centers using electronic payment cards, in accordance with the provisions of Article (23) of the Licensing System for Clinics and Human Medicine Centers Number (25) for the year 2025.
The department confirmed that electronic payment must be accompanied by obtaining an electronic invoice issued through the national electronic billing system, in the context of enhancing transparency and improving the services provided in the medical sector.
