Khaberni - The Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, said the events of Tuesday in Gaza are "disappointing and extremely frustrating for us," indicating that his country is focusing on ensuring the resilience of the ceasefire agreement.
From New York, he added "We are trying to pressure Hamas to acknowledge the necessity of disarmament," explaining that "it is clear to us that Hamas is ready to relinquish control in Gaza."
He then stated, "Attacking Israeli soldiers is a violation of the ceasefire in Gaza."
He continued, "We faced many challenges in achieving a ceasefire in Gaza and the path was not easy."
