The College of Nursing at AlZaytoonah University of Jordan Conducts Two Awareness Activities to Enhance Health Awareness in the

Khaberni - The College of Nursing at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized an awareness event titled "Hands-Only CPR" in cooperation with the Association of the Prophet's Beloved Ones and Al-Yawm Food Company, held at the association's headquarters, with the attendance of the college dean Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Ruz.

Dr. Abu Al-Ruz emphasized that this activity is part of the college’s commitment to enhancing health awareness among non-medical community members, through introducing them to the methods of adult and infant CPR in emergencies using hands-only, pointing out the importance of such initiatives in saving lives and spreading preventive health culture.

The event was also attended by the assistant head of the department for student affairs, Dr. Raed Abu Jabbeh, who expressed his gratitude to the participating entities and the cooperating experts who contributed to the success of this initiative.
The participants expressed their gratitude to the university and the organizers of the event, for the practical skills and knowledge they gained, which are of direct benefit to them and their families.

In a related context, the college organized another health awareness event titled "Support Yourself by Yourself" about breast cancer, in cooperation with the We Love Good Association and the Hussein Foundation for Cancer (Jordanian Breast Cancer Program), held at the headquarters of the We Love Good Association, with the participation of several women from the local community.

The dean of the college, Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Ruz, explained that this event is part of global events focusing on raising awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and its risks to women's health, asserting that early screening is a fundamental step for prevention and early treatment of the disease.

At the conclusion of the event, thanks were extended to the participating entities and the specialists who contributed to the success of both activities and achieving their educational goals.
