Khaberni - As part of the commitment of Amman Arab University to enhance its academic and social presence and to contribute to addressing national issues, Dr. Mohammed Salamat, a faculty member in the Faculty of Law, participated in the first scientific conference titled: "From University to Community – Partners in Confronting University Violence", which was held at Jerash University from October 20-22, 2025.
Dr. Salamat presented a scientific research paper at the conference titled: "The Phenomenon of University Violence and the Role of Universities in Reducing its Spread from the Perspective of Faculty Members in Jordanian Universities”, where the paper provided a scientific analysis of the reality of violence within the university campus, highlighting its causes and implications, and reviewed the roles of universities and academic administrations in confronting it through awareness programs, student activities, and promoting values of dialogue and national belonging.
This participation stems from the belief of the Faculty of Law at Amman Arab University in its academic and social role in facing challenges that affect the university environment and contributing to the production of applied knowledge that supports educational policies aimed at a safe and balanced university environment.
