Khaberni - The forensic memorandum in the Ismailia heinous crime revealed shocking details after a 13-year-old child confessed to killing his 12-year-old friend, chopping his body into 6 parts, and eating part of it.
According to the memorandum attached in case number 3625 of the year 2025 Administrative Center of Ismailia (investigated under number 1261 of 2025), the accused confessed that he:
Used an electric saw (grinder) and a large knife to chop the body,
Chopped the body into legs, arms, and two halves of the torso,
Put each part in a black plastic bag and sealed it with tape,
Disposed of the limbs in a garbage dump near the Blajat road and a nearby abandoned agricultural area.
More horrifyingly, the accused hid a piece of the victim's body and did not dispose of it on the same day but placed it in the freezer, then cooked it the next day as "steak," and said in his confession: "I made it a steak, and it tasted awful."
The accused child explained that the American TV series "Dexter" was his inspiration, saying: "I wanted to separate his head from his body like in the Dexter movie, but I couldn't psychologically... so I chopped him into 6 parts."
He also revealed a direct reason for the crime, saying that the victim came to his house to borrow 10 Egyptian pounds, and a verbal altercation ensued after he asked:
"Is it true your uncle is marrying your mom?"
To which the victim replied:
"Better than your mom who married just anyone."
The accused added: "We fought, grabbed each other's clothes, and when he reached into his pocket for something, I hit him with a hammer on the head, and he died."
He also claimed that the victim hinted at wanting to engage in "immoral acts," which made him feel "uncomfortable," according to his account.
Investigation procedures
The uncle of the deceased child identified his body in the morgue of the Ismailia Medical Complex.
The suspect was apprehended after security investigations revealed the locations where he disposed of the limbs.
The prosecution decided to detain the father of the accused in custody during the investigations, either for negligence or foreknowledge.
The tools used in the crime were seized, including the hammer, knife, and electric saw.
The crime raises widespread questions about the accessibility of violent content by minors online and the absence of family and media supervision, especially since the accused openly confessed to watching the TV series "Dexter" — known for depicting organized killings — and attempted to emulate its protagonist.
The Public Prosecution is conducting extensive investigations to determine legal responsibilities, including the extent of the family's or supervisory authorities' responsibility for the child's exposure to this type of content, in a crime described by observers as "beyond human imagination."
