Khaberni - Today, Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan announced the commencement of the Jabal Al-Qal'a cable car project in the capital, Amman; to be an important touristic, investment, and economic element contributing to the revitalization of central and east Amman and reinforcing job opportunities, and establishing Old Amman's position as a key tourist destination due to its heritage, history, and rooted community.
Hassan stated during the cabinet session that the Jabal Al-Qal'a cable car project will be managed by the company Vision of Amman, with support from the Ministry of Tourism, and will be launched along two routes extending from Jabal Al-Qal'a to Luweibdeh and the Roman theater, and will be operational within 15 months.
He added that the developmental vision for the capital governorate includes launching important national and investment projects, alongside other projects to improve the level of services provided to citizens in various sectors such as transportation, water, health, education, and others, not only in the areas of the Amman Secretariat but in all areas of the capital governorate and its municipalities from Muwaqqar to Giza, Naour, Sahab, Umm al-Rasas, Umm al-Basateen, Hasban, and Al-Amiriyyah.
He explained that Amman is among the cities in the world that have witnessed a population increase over the past two decades, but on the other hand, it has experienced development, resurgence, progress, and prosperity; thanks to the efforts of our Hashemite leadership and its commitment to always achieving the best.
