Khaberni - A lion with rare curly hair has sparked admiration and amazement on social media, following the spread of a photo taken by a wildlife photographer in the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya, showcasing an unusual appearance in the lion world.
The photo was captured by Iranian photographer and pilot Kambiz Pourghannad of the lion known as Nzuri – M6, who is the son of the lion Oleibolos and a former member of the famous "Topi Pride" in Masai Mara.
Nzuri is one of seven sub-males who later separated from the pride to live independently in the wild.
The photo shows the lion Nzuri with wavy hair as if carefully styled in a beauty salon, making him look more like a movie star than a ferocious lion, according to commentators.
According to wildlife experts, this unique appearance is believed to be due to genetic factors along with high humidity and natural hair drying after rainfall, giving it those striking waves.
Pourghannad shared the photo on his Instagram account, accompanied by a comment praising the unique beauty of the lion, saying: "Mark my words, Nzuri is now and will remain one of the most beautiful lions in Masai Mara, joining the list of famous African lions like Bon Jovi, King Moya, and Blondie."
