After winning 100 million dirhams What is the first decision for the lucky winner

Khaberni - Anilkomar Pula, a resident of Abu Dhabi and 29 years old, did not know that the dream of winning the grand prize in the Emirates lottery, which amounted to 100 million dirhams, would one day become a reality that would change his life.

After defying the odds of 1 in 8.8 million to win the grand prize in the Emirates lottery of 100 million dirhams, Pula told "Gulf Times" that his first steps would be to buy a supercar, then stay for a month in a seven-star hotel - just to absorb the news.

Anilkomar Pula affirmed, "This amount will change my life forever. I plan to buy a supercar first, then pamper myself with a month's stay in a seven-star hotel."

To illustrate his win, 100 million dirhams is enough to buy four villas in Palm Jumeirah, worth 25 million dirhams each, or about 60 Rolls Royce Cullinan cars. But for Pula, it’s not about spending the amount all at once. He said: "I will take time to carefully plan how to invest this money wisely."

A touched Pula added that his win is proof that hope and luck can come together for anyone, "especially when no one expects it."

To win the grand prize, Pula had to match all seven numbers with the draw result. When buying his ticket, he combined an "Easy Pick" number from the "Days" group and the number 11 from the "Months" group - in honor of his mother's birth month. He said that this simple gesture made his win even more special.

"Those numbers were special to me. I chose number 11 for my mom. I didn't expect it to be the key to this win," he said.

His story became even more poetic as the win happened on the eve of Diwali, the festival of lights in India - a celebration of new beginnings, hope, and prosperity.

Pula said: "I feel it's a great blessing. Winning on such a blessed occasion makes it even more significant."

Now, as Pula plans how to balance celebrations and smart investing, he says he wants his story to remind others that dreams can indeed come true.
