Khaberni - Gold prices in local markets dropped on Tuesday by a dinar and 40 qirsh, where the price of one gram of gold of various carats ranged between a dinar and 40 qirsh and a dinar and 60 qirsh, according to the pricing issued by the General Syndicate of Goldsmiths and Jewelers Trade Owners.
The selling price of 21 karat gold, which is the most demanded by citizens, reached 80.3 dinars at goldsmiths, while the buying price reached 76.9 dinars, reflecting a decrease by a dinar and 40 qirsh.
As for the selling prices of a gram of gold for 24, 18, and 14 karats at goldsmiths, they recorded 92 dinars, 71.1 dinars, and 54 dinars respectively.
