Khaberni - The Jordan Petroleum Refinery Co. Ltd announced the renewal and expansion of the accreditation of its Quality Control and Laboratory Department at its Zarqa site, according to the Conformity Assessment Bodies Accreditation Procedure No. (4) of 2022.
This accreditation was granted following the Jordan Accreditation and Standardization System's confirmation that the laboratories comply with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for the testing of petroleum derivatives. Consequently, the test reports issued by the laboratory are internationally recognized and accepted worldwide.
The quality control laboratories at the Jordan Petroleum Refinery are a fundamental pillar in monitoring and ensuring the quality of petroleum derivatives, verifying that they meet both local and international specifications. These labs conduct laboratory tests on crude oil and produced or imported petroleum derivatives, including liquefied petroleum gas, gasoline, kerosene, aviation fuel, fuel oil, and asphalt.
