Within the framework of the keenness of Amman Arab University to enhance the academic presence in events specialized in financial technology, and within the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, the university president, on the necessity of engaging the academic staff in scientific activities of strategic dimension,, Dr. Raad Al-Sumadi, Head of the Finance Department at the School of Business, participated in the training workshop titled "Horizons of Innovation in FinTech", which was held as part of the Jordan Financial Technology Festival 2025 events, andwith the participation of a group of academics and experts from various Jordanian universities.

The workshop was hosted by the Jordanian FinTech Academy and in cooperation with the Institute of Banking Studies, aiming to shed light on the latest developments in the field of financial technology, and its role in supporting innovation and the development of banking and financial services, which contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the financial sector locally and regionally.

In this context, Dr. Ahoud Al-Khsawneh, the Dean of the School of Business at Amman Arab University, emphasized that the college's participation in such events aligns with the university's approach to enhancing partnerships between higher education institutions and the financial sector, highlighting the importance of integrating financial technology concepts into academic programs to prepare a generation of graduates equipped with the digital and cognitive skills necessary for leading the transformation in the finance industry.

It is noted that the Jordan Financial Technology Festival 2025 serves as a leading national platform that brings together academics, specialists, decision-makers, and representatives of the public and private sectors, to explore opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in the national economy, and to foresee the horizons of innovation in the field of financial technology.
