Khaberni - The young Bulgarian, Andrea Ivanova, has spent more than 20,000 pounds to achieve what she describes as "the largest lips in the world," after undergoing 32 hyaluronic acid injections since 2018, completely transforming her features and becoming the talk of social media.
However, her journey towards the look she describes as "unique and different" did not pass without severe criticism; after recently posting a picture of herself eating at a Greek restaurant, she was bombarded with comments mocking her appearance, questioning whether she could eat or was just pretending to.
One follower wrote: "Can you eat with that shape?" while another sarcastically commented: "Try an anti-allergy medication to reduce the swelling."
In turn, Ivanova, who is 28 years old, confirmed that she has no problem eating and does not care about what is said about her, stating, "Some describe me as ugly or as looking crude and exaggerated, but I don’t care.. I like being different from everyone else."
Andrea began her cosmetic journey seven years ago driven by her passion for "artificial and exaggerated beauty," as she describes it, and added on TikTok: "Since childhood, I have loved strange and interesting appearances.. I don’t like the ordinary or boring look."
The changes were not limited to her lips; she also underwent injections in her chin, jaw, and cheeks, in addition to a breast augmentation procedure, making her features today completely different from her old photos.
Although her friends have accepted her new look, her family still struggles to understand the change, saying: "My friends are used to my appearance, but my parents and grandparents say that my lips are too big and that I look scary to them, and when I walk on the street, people stare and whisper or comment loudly, and some ask to take pictures with me."
She concluded her statement with a clear message to her critics: "I am an adult, and I decide for myself what I want to do with my body."
