Rita Harb My relationship with my daughters is exceptional because I raised them alone

Khaberni - Lebanese artist Rita Harb expressed her great joy in participating in the El Gouna Film Festival, stating that she considers her presence at such artistic events a precious opportunity to meet colleagues from different countries and to follow new and distinguished works.

Rita Harb said, "I'm very happy to be present at the El Gouna Festival, because we often don't have time for many festivals, and it saddens me because I love participating in the festivals, I love this great gathering where we see other people’s works and successes, and we simply meet each other, and it’s an opportunity to meet you, the press."

She added, "When there is a conflicting schedule with a certain festival, I feel sad, but thankfully this time I was able to be present."

Rita Harb talked about her new artistic work, explaining that it is a different experience from her previous works in terms of genre and performance. She said, "Now there is a new work, a lengthy dubbed series, and as an actress, it is new for me because I'm acting in a comedy for the first time, specifically a romantic comedy, but the acting style is different."

She referred to the work tentatively titled "Knock On My Door" which might be changed later, noting that it is based on the Turkish version that bears the same name. She added, "The dubbed series is an experience I love very much, especially since I love Turkish drama, and I have no problem with it, because these series are long but enjoyable, and people like them, and even if sometimes the events seem prolonged, you keep waiting to find out what happens next."

She explained that the series is distinguished by introducing new characters and different dramatic lines that keep the audience in constant anticipation, adding, "The viewer is never bored, and keeps waiting for the resolution to find out what is happening, and this time I couldn’t travel with them, but they are waiting for me in Istanbul because I'm coming back to continue shooting soon."

Rita Harb talked about her strong relationship with her daughters, confirming that it is an exceptional relationship built on understanding and affection. She said, "Every mother loves her daughters, and the daughters love their mother, that's expected, but I have a slightly more special relationship because I raised them alone, and since I'm close in age to them, we have developed a strong bond."

She added, "I used to host the program 'Eyes of Beirut' on Orbit channel, and it was a diverse program, and through the different guests from various fields, I learned even more about how to properly raise my daughters, so I feel that this is a blessing, and I am very proud of them, and I always tell them I love them very much."

At the end of the interview, Rita Harb expressed her great appreciation for the Egyptian actors Ahmed Zaki and Adel Imam, saying, "I really love Ahmed Zaki, may God have mercy on him, and I love Adel Imam very much, may God prolong his life."

When asked about the personality she wished could have attended the festival if he were alive, she answered, "If he were with us, it would be Ahmed Zaki, I'm not sure what he would say, but I imagine him wearing the suit and giving that look."

She concluded her talk by expressing thanks, saying, "Thank you, I love you all very much."
