Khaberni - Since her first appearance on the screen, Yousra was not just an actress, but a symbol of joy and integrity, an artistic voice that embodied the transformations of Egyptian and Arab cinema. With an artistic career spanning over half a century, she combined creative maturity and diversity in roles, from delicate girl to strong woman, and from comedy to drama and politics. Her status was not limited to being a star at the box office but became an artistic and cultural icon representing a whole generation of artists.
And in the eighth edition of the El Gouna Film Festival, her presence was extraordinary, as the festival featured a tribute to her illustrious career and an exhibition documenting her journey, amid notable artistic and public attendance. In her conversation with "Al Arabiya.net" and "Al Hadath.net," Yousra expressed her feelings towards being honored in El Gouna.

Yousra expressed her pride in being part of the El Gouna Film Festival, describing it as "the real home of art and a place that celebrates creativity." She explained that her relationship with the festival goes beyond artistic participation to a real belonging to a project aimed at advancing Egyptian and Arab cinema.

She added that she did not feel fifty years of her artistic career pass by, saying: "I did not feel the years pass by, I still dream and plan as if I am at the beginning of the road."

She mentioned that this figure does not bother her, but rather gives her a feeling of gratitude for her ability to give with the same passion and love. She talked about the exhibition that was held to document her artistic journey, expressing her deep impact from the displayed photos and artifacts, and feeling amazed as if her entire life was passing in front of her in a single moment. She considered the humanely deep tribute presented by the festival "the most beautiful gift in her artistic career."
She emphasized the importance of film festivals in supporting the industry, noting that the El Gouna Festival has become an Arab and international platform that provides opportunities for young artists and independent filmmakers, and that Egypt is always a leader in the cinema field.

She also sent a message to young artists urging them to love art and present it honestly, because the audience feels the honesty, and she respects her audience throughout her life.
