French Presidents Wife Registered as Male

Khaberni - The appearance of an unusual name for Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, on the French tax website caused widespread controversy, prompting the Élysée to open an urgent investigation into the incident.

The name that appeared upon the First Lady's login to her tax account was "Jean Michel, nicknamed Brigitte Macron," which surprised her and her team.

According to a documentary aired on "BFMTV," Tristan Poumié, the director of Brigitte Macron's office, confirmed that he was surprised by the name shown, and tried to log in again to confirm, but the result remained the same.

French media indicated that the tax system usually does not allow manual name modifications and that it should not be possible for any conventional external intervention to alter the data in this way, which reinforces the likelihood of a technical glitch or hacking.

Following the incident, Brigitte Macron filed a legal complaint, and the presidential palace dealt with the matter seriously. Two individuals suspected of being connected to the incident were identified, according to reports.

This incident occurs in the ongoing context of conspiracy theories targeting the First Lady for years, falsely alleging that she was born male named "Jean Michel Trogneux," and even claims that her current persona is actually her older brother. These false rumors have compelled her to file several lawsuits for defamation and slander.

In an attempt to prove the truth of her identity in court, Brigitte Macron previously announced that she would undergo an official genetic test, although such rumors lack any factual basis.

Nevertheless, the incident continues to stir controversy, especially following the documentary airing that highlighted the incident and the official and personal reactions to it.
