The list was also published for leaders in healthcare who lead the largest and most influential medical and healthcare institutions in the Middle East, as George Washington University in the USA announced the reappointment of Professor Dr. Al-Bashir as a professor of surgery in the medical school, which is considered one of the most prestigious American and global universities, in recognition of his known medical role in the field of surgery and integrated medical care, and the university had decided to appoint Dr. Al-Bashir as a surgical professor in the university since 2005.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Bashir confirmed that Forbes' second choice of him for the global list and his reappointment by the prestigious George Washington University reflects a global appreciation for Jordan's medical position and its reputation in the healthcare field particularly through medical tourism and the development of various surgical programs in addition to high-level medical education that started four years ago with the establishment of Ibn Sina University for Medical Sciences.
