Khaberni - Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Raad bin Zeid and the sponsorship of the Friends of the Jordan Eye Bank Association, Prince Hamzah bin Hussein Hospital organized a specialized awareness session titled "Give Light to Others", which covered the medical and religious aspects of corneal donation, attended by several department heads, along with the medical, health, technical, and administrative staff working at the hospital.

The session reviewed the medical opinions related to corneal donation and its positive impact on improving the quality of life of patients suffering from partial or total loss of vision, in addition to the religious perspectives in Islam and Christianity that emphasize the legitimacy and importance of this noble humanitarian act for its life-saving and hope-restoring implications.

The event also featured participation from one of the cases who received a corneal donation, where she shared her moving experience with the transplant, highlighting the significant impact the donation had on restoring her sight and improving her daily life.

At the conclusion of the session, the participants called for enhancing community awareness of the culture of donating organs and corneas, and encouraging citizens to take initiative in this area due to its profound humanitarian and medical impact.
