Amman Industries Participate in GITEX Exhibition in Dubai

Khaberni - The Amman Chamber of Industry participated in the GITEX Global Exhibition, held in Dubai, which is considered the world's first exhibition for information technology, the fourth industrial revolution, and fields of artificial intelligence. The participation aimed to benefit from the trends of the fourth industrial revolution and the digital transformation of industrial companies, which helps them introduce new industrial practices or new smart technologies, contributing to the development of automation and productivity.

The delegation from the Amman Chamber of Industry held several meetings with representatives of leading global companies in the fields of digital industries, solutions for the fourth industrial revolution, advanced software, and artificial intelligence applications to explore the most prominent digital products and solutions that have been developed and introduced to local and global markets. Moreover, the chamber's delegation participated in events of the Think Tech workshop specifically for promoting investment in artificial intelligence fields in several countries, including Jordan, in addition to attending the closing ceremony for the Expand North Star competitions for startups and university student projects. Discussions were also held with the exhibition management to explore the possibility of participation of Jordanian factories in future versions, special price packages for national delegations, opportunities to showcase Jordanian products in sections like smart manufacturing and energy, and exploring ways to cooperate in transferring advanced technology to the Jordanian industrial sector.

The participating Jordanian delegation included, in addition to representatives of the Amman Chamber of Industry - Engineer Mohammad Abu Saqileek and Hasan Al-Sayfi, a number of specialized experts and representatives from the Hashemite University - the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Projects, as well as the Future Etqan Company (a joint Fourth Industrial Revolution center with the chamber).

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition featured 6800 technology companies and 2000 startups from 180 countries, offering an ideal platform for companies to showcase their latest digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies, learn about the best global practices that accelerate the pace of digital transformation, focusing in this year's edition on solutions for developing artificial intelligence infrastructure, accelerating the pace of global innovation, and enhancing international dialogue on policies and legislation that support responsible development in the growing artificial intelligence economy.
