Bahrain Arrest of an Asian man practicing medicine without a license

Khaberni - The Ministry of Interior in Bahrain has confirmed that the Criminal Investigation Directorate in the General Directorate of Investigation and Forensic Evidence has managed to arrest an Asian (49 years old), for practicing medicine without a license in his residence in the Salmabad area.

The directorate explained that after receiving information regarding this matter, they immediately commenced search and investigation operations, which resulted in identifying the suspect and arresting him, in coordination with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), where it was found that he was providing unlicensed medical services in his residence and a quantity of unlicensed medical medicines was also seized.

The General Directorate for Investigation and Forensic Evidence indicated that effective legal measures have been taken in preparation for referring the case to the Public Prosecution.

The Criminal Media Section of the General Directorate for Investigation and Forensic Evidence highlighted the importance of continuing to activate community partnership to support security efforts to counter any illegal practices, urging the necessity of communicating with the security and specialized authorities by reporting any information related to illegal activities through calling the main operations room (999) around the clock, ensuring complete confidentiality of the information.
