Angelina Jolie Plans to Create a Relief Village for Orphans in Gaza

Khaberni - Foreign media reports revealed the global star Angelina Jolie's intent to establish a large relief village for orphans in the Gaza Strip, as part of an initiative aimed at supporting children affected by the war and contributing to the reconstruction of the sector.

According to foreign media, Palestinian activist Samer Sinjlawi conveyed during an online discussion session organized by the Candid Foundation in Germany, that Jolie is planning to establish a significant humanitarian project in Gaza aimed at embracing children who have lost their families during the recent war.
Sinjlawi stated that the initiative reflects "Angelina Jolie's deep humanitarian commitment and her desire to make a tangible contribution to the reconstruction of the sector," noting that she is one of the prominent global figures who still supports civilians in conflict zones away from political spotlights.

Sinjlawi added, via his account on "X," that "the role of civil society is no less important than the efforts of governments, as humanitarian ideas capable of supporting the residents of Gaza must be implemented on the ground."

The news quickly received widespread welcome from the public across social platforms, as many considered the former UN goodwill ambassador’s initiative as a beacon of hope for the children of Gaza who lost their families, praising her firm stances towards humanitarian issues.

Angelina Jolie was among the first Hollywood stars who openly expressed their solidarity with civilians in Gaza during the last war, as she wrote in a post on social media in October 2023: "What happened in Israel is a terrorist act, but that does not justify killing the innocent in Gaza, where civilians are without shelter, food, or water, and do not even have the right to seek refuge."
