Khaberni - Rashed Al-Omari, brother of the Jordanian opposition figure Dr. Naseer Al-Omari, announced that his brother would be buried in the United States.
Khaberni, Al-Omari also explained that condolences for the late Naseer will be held at the Al-Omari tribe’s diwan in Kafr Asad, Central Irbid district, north Jordan, starting from Wednesday today.
The late Al-Omari, Khaberni, was a member of the American Democratic Party and died suddenly of a heart attack.
Who is Dr. Naseer Al-Omari Khaberni?
The late Al-Omari held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Communications and Theater Arts at the Community College of the City University of New York Khaberni (CUNY), and he also worked at other universities both inside and outside the United States, including the New York Institute of Technology (NYiT).
He earned a Ph.D. in Language Education from Fordham University, a Master's degree from the City University of New York - Lehman College, and a Bachelor's degree Khaberni from Yarmouk University in Jordan, his birthplace.
The deceased held the position of Vice President of the Muslim Council in Yonkers, North New York, and was an active member in both civil society organizations Khaberni and American rights associations.
The late individual also contributed to the preparation and publication of many research papers and academic articles Khaberni and participated in international conferences addressing issues of education, culture, and minority rights.
